Plastic Filament

Bound to Impress plastic filament is manufactured on site from high quality, food grade PVC pellets. We manufacture both round filament and elliptical profile filament. Our plastic filament is then used to form plastic spirals which provide a durable and hardwearing binding technique. As we manufacture spirals on-site we can produce spirals in various sizes from 6mm to 45mm diameter, in 6mm and 3:1 pitch. These can be custom made to any length to suit your binding needs, eliminating the unnecessary waste caused by using standard spiral lengths.

Our plastic filament is manufactured and stocked in Melbourne. Filament can be shipped anywhere in the Australia with turnaround times as short as 24 hours. For your most urgent orders and specialised orders we can make plastic filament on demand.

Plastic filament is available on disposable cardboard spools. No spool deposits or returns are required. Bound to Impress can supply a filament based on recycled material in order to reduce the impact of plastic on the environment.

There are 16 standard plastic spiral colours, but it is possible to produce practically any colour given enough notice.
